A touch switch panel replaces the plastic switches + plate on an existing modular box with a single glass/acrylic surface — feather-touch controls, indicator glow at night, and a genuinely premium wall. Because they're built for standard modular boxes, most homes can upgrade without breaking walls.
Understanding module sizes (2M to 12M)
Modular boxes come in standard widths, counted in "modules": 2M, 4M, 6M, 8M and 12M. The touch panel must match the box already in your wall — open the existing switch plate and count, or measure the box width. As a quick reference:

Walk each room and list what the board controls: lights, fans, exhaust, sockets. Then match the combination — panels come in fixed layouts like "6 switch + 1 fan" or "8 switch + 1 socket". Two details people miss:
- Fan regulators: pick a panel with a dedicated fan module (step regulation on touch) for every ceiling fan.
- Sockets: 6A sockets can sit inside the panel — count phone chargers and bedside plugs.
